Day 1: Airport- Hotel
Pick up from airport and taken to your hotel. After check in, relax at the hotel premises as you get used to the place. Interact with the hotel staff and ask them anything you would like to know. Have a swim at the pools or the ocean. Later dinner will be served where after you can enjoy some evening entertainment before you go to bed.
Day 2: Mombasa city tour
After your breakfast, you will be taken to a tour of Mombasa city. You will visit Fort Jesus a historical site built by the Portuguese and watch convoys of traditional dhows return from their morning fishing excursions in Kilindini's deep water harbor. From there you will then visit the old town which is influenced by Mombasa's trade culture and then to Marikiti market where you can buy some souvenirs. Proceed to the famous elephant tasks then have your lunch at the Royal court hotel. After lunch visit Mama Ngina and feel the cool and fresh breeze of the Ocean. Watch as the ferry carries people to and fro Likoni and if lucky, get a chance to see the huge ships sail in and out of the port of Mombasa. Return to your hotel.
Day 3: Haller Park
Have an early morning breakfast then visit mamba village one of the largest crocodile farms in East Africa. Get a chance to see the blood thirsty reptiles struggle for meat as they are being fed. Also at the farm you can enjoy horse and camel riding. Have your lunch at Tamarind restaurant then proceed to Haller Park. The park consists of a Game Sanctuary, Reptile Park, small demonstration Fish Farm area, Palm Garden, Crocodile pens and a giraffe viewing platform. Get a chance to feed the giraffes which gives you an opportunity to be up close to them where you can admire their beauty of skin. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Mombasa Marine Park
After your breakfast, you will visit Mombasa Marine Park. The Marine is ideal for wind surfing, water skiing, snorkeling and diving. It also provides a home to a colorful variety of marine species including crabs, starfish, stone fish, cucumbers sea urchins, corals and migratory birds. You will have your lunch then after visit Bombolulu workshop. Bombolulu workshop offers job opportunities to the blind or physically disabled who wouldn’t get a chance in the labor market. The artisans create jewelry and other products for both local and export markets. Return for dinner and overnight at your hotel.
Day 5: Mombasa – Diani
After your breakfast, indulge in the various activities the hotel has to offer. You can snorkel, play beach volleyball or go to the fitness center among others. Take your lunch where after you will check out of your hotel and embark on another trip to Diani. Diani is one of the best beach destinations in Africa. You will be ferried across the Likoni channel and continue with your trip where you will arrive at your hotel later in the evening. After check in, have your dinner and enjoy a warm welcome by the entertainment team.
Day 6: Shimba Hills National Reserve
Have an early breakfast and after you will be taken to Shimba Hills National reserve. The reserve is known for its beautiful green vegetation, forested landscape, sharp slopes and steep valley. The reserve is also rich in flora and fauna. Animals found at the reserve are elephant and Kenya's only population of Sable antelope. Also found at the reserve is the Sheldrick falls. Later visit Mwaluganje Elephant Sanctuary a sanctuary created to fight against deforestation and protection of elephants. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Wasini Island
Have an early morning breakfast and enjoy a full day Wasini Island dhow. The dhow trip starts early in the morning where you can see the sunrise. This trip will include a visit to Kisite Mpunguti Marine Park where you can snorkel. Also get a chance to spot turtle and dolphins while for the adventurous and brave ones to swim with the dolphins. Get a chance to observe marine life from a glass-bottomed boat while you enjoy seafood for lunch. This day’s trip won’t be over without a visit to the Wasini fishing village and the Shimoni caves. Return back to the hotel where dinner will be served.
Day 8: Departure
This being the last day of your trip, have an early breakfast and relax at the beach as you swim or stroll along it. If lucky you can enjoy a camel ride across the sandy beach. Check out of your hotel and embark on your journey home.
